BiographyJered has been a radiation physicist (medical physicist) with the Duke Clinical Imaging Physics Group (CIPG) since 2013. His primary clinical responsibilities are in radiography and fluoroscopy compliance within the Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP). Jered grew up in Iowa and earned his BA in Physics at Central College before moving to North Carolina to attend Duke University where he earned his PhD in Medical Physics. During his career, Jered has spent time consulting in enterprise software development as a product owner and provided CT protocol management and optimization services. He has also accepted consultation appointments with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Outside of work, Jered can be found on the lake, attending club volleyball events, or coaching cross country. | |
