Beth is an imaging physics resident with the Clinical Imaging Physics Group. Beth grew up in wild and wonderful West Virginia before pursuing her BS in Physics and Biology at Washington and Lee University in Virginia. After earning her BS in 2022, she joined Duke University's Medical Physics Graduate Program receiving her master's degree in 2024. While at Duke, she conducted research on artifact reduction in breast MRI through hardware modification of a prone breast coil. When clocked out for the day Beth enjoys crocheting, making sugar cookies, and sharing intentional time with friends. Upon completion of her residency, she wants to work as a clinical imaging physicist to support the clinical efforts of local hospital staff and contribute to high-quality patient care.
