| David Fenwick, MSResident |
David is an imaging physics resident with the Clinical Imaging Physics Group. He earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2011. After graduation, he worked as an engineer and project manager at Pfizer, Robling Medical, and United Therapeutics Corporation. In 2023, he joined the Medical Physics Graduate Program at Duke University where he earned his MS in medical physics in 2025. During his time in the graduate program, he conducted research on integrating virtual imaging trials and a reinforcement learning approach to optimize CT protocols. During his free time, he enjoys running, reading, cooking, and hiking. He was born in Northern Ireland and spent the first 10 years of his life in the United Kingdom before moving to the United States where he has lived in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. | |

| Njood Alsaihati, PhDResident |
Njood is an imaging physics resident with the Clinical Imaging Physics Group. She grew up in Saudi Arabia before moving to the United States in 2015 to pursue her education. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Denver and both her MS and PhD in Medical Physics from Duke University. During her doctoral training, she studied how categorization, metrology, and analysis methods influence the characterization of clinical imaging quality and variability. Her work focused on improving the characterization and reproducibility of clinical imaging performance through standardized evaluation methods. Outside of work, Njood enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking, running, relaxing at the beach, or playing tennis. She also has an interest in fashion and loves traveling to explore new places and cultures. Upon completion of her residency, she hopes to work as a clinical imaging physicist, combining clinical practice and research to advance imaging quality, optimize imaging technologies, and improve patient care. | |
